Host Hotel - The Queen Mary
The host hotel will be the Queen Mary in Long Beach. The historic Queen Mary hosted her first passengers in 1936, but now this majestic ship is permanently docked in the Long Beach Harbor. She is comprised of 347 staterooms and 60,000 square feet of function space among her fourteen meeting/banquet rooms and exhibit hall. From elegant, continental cuisine to casual dining and cocktails, a stay aboard the Queen Mary can offer delightful culinary experiences in any one of five restaurants and bars. There is Sir Winston’s, one of Southern California’s award-winning fine dining experiences or Promenade Café which offers all day dining in a casual and engaging atmosphere. Perhaps at the pinnacle of Art Deco expression is the Observation Bar. Formerly the First Class Lounge, the room is adorned with a classic 1930's look and features some of the best hand crafted cocktails from the period.
The Queen Mary’s 347 original staterooms span three of her eight decks and feature authentic polished wood panelling, original 1930's artwork and a distinct Art Deco style. The ship's staterooms make the Queen Mary unlike any other hotel in southern California and something you really shouldn't pass up. Our block of rooms features many options from roomy inside staterooms to outside staterooms with portholes and a view of downtown Long Beach.
We will be opening up room reservations again once the Queen Mary resumes operations later this year. Please reserve early for the best selection of rooms. We also expect our room block to sell out, so don't delay if you would like to stay aboard the Queen Mary!
